Content Tips for Big League Bait Co Creators

We welcome customers of all backgrounds the opportunity to be part of this program. So if you are a beginner, below are some helpful tips, tricks and ideas to make posting easier. Start simple, don't worry about making things perfect. We want you to be real and authentic!

Content ideas:

1) Unboxing your Big League Bait Co. Package

Show off what you got and give your first impressions. Snap a photo or shoot a quick video. Talk about which colors or styles you're excited to try or already love.

2) On-the-Water Footage

Film a quick clip while you're rigging up, casting, or reeling in a catch with BLB lures. Bonus points if you show the lure in action.

3) Show your Tackle Box

Post a photo or video of how you organize your soft plastics. Give a quick tip or talk about your go-to BLB colors that you always have on hand for different conditions.

4) Quick Tips or How-To Videos

Break down how you rig your BLB Lures or share a quick tip for fishing in different waters or seasons.

5) Catch of the Day

Let your catch speak for itself. Post a photo of your catch and shout out the lure that got the job done.

Lighting & Quality Tips (No Fancy Equipment Needed)

Clean, well-lit content helps your post stand out, pushing it to more people and bringing in more commission for you. Don't worry all you need is your phone!

Use Natural Light

  • Best light is early in the morning or afternoon.
  • Film with the sun (or lamp if inside) in front of you. This will make your content clearer and more focused, allowing your lure and/or catch to be seen easier.

Keep it Steady & Clean

  • Always wipe your phone lens before recording.
  • Prop your phone up on something stable to avoid looking shaky or grainy. This also lets you focus on what you're doing instead of trying to hold your phone!
  • Make sure the focus is set on you, the lure, or the fish, and not the background.

Film in Vertical Format

  • Record your video vertically if you're planning on posting on Instagram or TikTok.
